carpentry isn't my cup of tea tbh, if i had to pursue a trade recently i'm thinking about a EVT (electrical car technician), EV cars are the future they're probably gonna replace gas cars completely in the next 5-10 years, but the thing with electric is they are not as reliable as gas cars and alot of problems arise, and ofc there's gonna need to be people to fix them, with such a new field it'll need a new generation of skilled workers with expertise so it'd be nice to get into it early, only problem is idk where you'd receive training and certification for that stuff

Youll probably have to have a degree. Evs are quite technical; from software to the battery pack to the motors. The thing is carpenters will always be in demand and you dont have to spend a lot of money on a degree to learn it.
