Even on foids it's barely a thing. I've (over)heard people talking about this feature but it doesn't seem to matter much if at all when it comes to actual attractiveness for either genders
You can definitely make a case for a well grown dentofacial structure when it comes to breathing (quality), robusticity as far as fights go etc. No case to be made for this "genetic defect"
Although its impact is non existent, so there's that... I think
On the (very odd) occasion you'll overhear older folks mention it and maybe someone that's already attracted to a person dimples or not
