Being sober is self torture

When I see someone complaining that they are muh depressed, but they have the ability to get alcohol but still choose to remain sober, then my first thought is that their suffering is self inflicted because they are choosing the worst mental state aka sobriety. (It doesn’t have to be alcohol, even DPH is better than being sober)

I understand alcohol is expensive but it’s a good investment if you dont want life to be absolute hell. Unless you are a dirt poor neet you should be able to afford a 6 pack of colt 45.

I wonder how much addictions are genetic, I've gotten drunk a dozen times yet I don't feel the need to drink. At all.
