Her friend (who by the way is good-looking, so his compliment actually means something) came over to give us an estimate for how much it would cost his cleaning company to do their work at our facility. This was my first time meeting him and apparently he told her later on, "AlbanianLegend1994 looks like he's sculpted out of wax, he has no pores, he's beautiful like a model."

(btw for the record I have no skin regimen and haven't washed my face with a cleanser since 2011)

Then I go to her, "he was baiting you, just testing to see your reaction, whether you'd agree, cuz he secretly likes you."

Then she's like "Omgg... ughh why can't good-looking people take a compliment..."

She told me the exact same thing "ughh... why can't you just take the compliment..." several months ago when we were discussing first impressions when we first met each other at work. Hers was that I was good-looking and she saw me as a dark horse who was used to using his looks to get ahead in life and would attempt to do the same in the company and take over her position, so she was initially suspicious of me etc.

I had jokingly told her, "I'm not used to getting complimented on my looks."

And then she was like, "yeah... sure"
