1. fix your hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone, we all have it, usually from acne, use hydroquinone (make sure you never use it while in the sun), if you think it's too much you can use kojic acid and vitamin c serum (these are too weak imo though)
2. use sunscreen and body lotion, just because your black doesn't mean you can't get sun damage use sun screen, even better there's lots of clear and brown sun screens on the market now just for us blackcels so you won't get that white sweat we normally do when we apply creams to our skin, use body lotion to keep your skin moisturized, ashy knees and elbows are a big no no
3. if you have a very wide palate, large chin, or very strong jawline do not get longer hair styles, it'll look uncanny stick with lower haircuts
4. if you can't grow a full beard, just clean shave or get a goatee, our beards tend to look more patchy cause of our curlier hair type, it gives a really unkept look in it's earlier stages ngl, if you want it to grow beard oils are cope, facial hair is mostly genes, your ability to grow a full beard comes with age, only use it to moisturize otherwise it's a waste of money just use oral minoxidil and take biotin
5. razor bumps, we tend to get these a lot cause of our curlier hair type, use a DE razor and exfoliate before shaving, aloe vera shaving creams also do a good job at preventing bumps, you may also have pseudofolliculitis where your hairs grow into your skin and mostly affects black people, in this case you don't want a razor that cuts too close, use a single blade razor or foil guard razer that can go down to 0.4 or 0.5 mm
6. never get a high top, looks childish and immature
7. eye area, thick eyebrows and long lashes are a giga halo for blackcels, castor is cope and takes too long, use minoxidil
8. insane hair growth, most hair products are cope, just wash your hair about once a week until it's able to go into a protective style, don't go buying some expensive shampoo and conditioner but don't use the shitty cheap ones those aren't meant for our hair types, regularly use hair masks you can make them your self with shea butter or unsalted butter, use a hair oil as well, tea tree oil is a really good one as it is it anti microbial make sure it's diluted with a carrier oil though
