Rehab on face vs height

Agree with (almost) everything

The only thing I disagree with is that even face can be quantified. And there's legitimate (read, written by ACTUAL surgeons on the matter) books that go in depth about very specific facial issues. You think they just simply cut a portion of your chin and move it forward?

Everything is measured, and life is not a game of inches, but milimeters

He only starts comparing height to face around 9:20, and makes a false equivalence in favor of face: that the best face is better than the best height. That's obvious, like 0.1% of the population might have a 10/10 height, but only 0.000001% of the population has a 10/10 face, so of course face is better. He even makes this counter argument himself at 10:20

Then he further argues face over height, because you're more likely to be a famous actor or model, which is straight up irrelevant to dating. If he wants to talk about face vs height outside of dating, he should be talking about career and how other men respect your face vs height, not your ability to be a model if you're in the top 0.1% in face.

Besides those 2 points, it's a good video. He should have also mentioned the value threshold at 10:20 (horizontal line on the graph where below that, most women will reject you), how a larger proportion of men won't meet women's standards due to height than due to face, based on the curvature of the graphs.

He did mention that height is more important overall, I think?

That's the impression I was left with. For those that fall within the average range, height certainly matters more. Even good looking but short guys pay a tremendous tax - they're basically incels - (and no, judging face isn't really subjective as there's metrics that both plastic surgeons, maxilofacial surgeons and even those tasked with these weird psychology studies are forced to abide by)

This argument that you need to look like a male model to get over the slight height gap just furthers the belief that height is that much more important, if we were to follow the logic in the video...

I also got the impression he was alluding to height generally being more important, but he didn't want to say it outright. But I'm suspecting I'm just projecting my own views onto the video, because he really was being quite neutral. Even looking at the comments, he activated everyone's confirmation biases, whether it be in favor of height or face.

That's why I brought up those 2 points. He didn't seem to be making those arguments to point out false equivalences people commonly make, it seemed more like he was sincerely making those arguments himself, to give off the impression face 'beats' height.

He did say that. The oofy doofy part and later on with those statistics (who's automatically disqualified, the "lower" standard range deviation for face - which I very much disagree with - etc). His video could be summarized as: manlet = over regardless, height > face for normies and DiCaprio-cels are treated like Gods.

Rehab room has its own blind spots. Comment section looks like a bunch of anecdotecels and PSL autists mimicing the "I know a 5'5 guy" (wit hthe handsome/gigachad face interjected somewhere)

Pretty much. It's a very unstructured video, where he makes many points in favor of both face and height circumstantially. I think that's why it's not so easy to tell if he's saying face or height.

It's unstructured but the message is clear

I don't know why he beats around the bush so much, it's really just height for the vast majority of men. Who the fuck is walking around with a model looking face irl? Unless I look in the mirror, I'm not seeing any
