“Looksmaxxing” is just a code word for wanting to feel loved and wanted. Since when was it embarrassing n cringe to comfort someone? When did offering a hug, a kind word or just sitting silently beside someone in pain become smthng to mock n avoid? It seems like vulnerability has ben twisted into weakness n sincerity mistaken for awkwardness . In a world constanlt pushing us to be cool n nonchalant dreadheads, genuine empathy has became uncomfortable. But that literally what makus us human the ability to feel deeply, to care, to show up for each other even when words fall short? This is why humanity, esp between genders, feels more distant with every passing day.
