Can you listen to this audio tape in full?

south africa has some interesting cases as well
Yeah there's lots of them. Mostly they don't have much information on them. Cases from Africa or Asia rarely have more than two paragraphs or so of an article. You're lucky if there's a photo of them, specially if it's from like the 70s or something. But yeah, South Africa has a surprisingly large amount of serial killers. I believe I read somewhere it was the third country with the most documented serial killers, behind the U.S. and the UK.

Yeah, well Moses Sithole, a guy with one of the most dangerous last names in the world, was also a serial killer, not just rapist. But on just rapists, yeah. Jimmy Savile's a fine one. Cyril Smith. You got Vince Champ who was a stand-up comedian that raped chicks at colleges he performed in. There's many interesting serial rapists, but most of them they also become serial killers, so I just group them over there, like Paul Bernardo, who was at first known as the Scarborough Rapist. An interesting rapist is Mr. Cruel, some unidentified child rapist in Australia who abducted children from their homes and wore a strange self-made creepy mask.
it is theorized mr.cruel had law enforcement background, the golden state killer who was like the mr.cruel of america also did, occupations of serial killers also are interesting, many had military background, some also had jobs like taxi drivers or truckers

Yeah. I really like Robert Ben Rhoades. He's a less known serial killer, but he's one of those trucker serial killers like you said. Funny that a trucker serial killer is named "Rhoades". And yeah, many serial killers have backgrounds in law enforcement. It's the same as many arsonists working as firefighters. They're more effective because they have an inside knowledge of how it works and how to do and not do it.

not rhoades, it was some fat dude

I know you're not referring to Rhoades. I'm just saying I like him because you brought up the subjects of many serial killers being truckers, and he was one of them. The Golden State Killer was Joseph DeAngelo. Fine man too.

Yeah I know who you mean, but I can't recall the name either. There was also a Burmese Monk who killed 100 people and ate them, yet outside of a Reddit post, all information about him you can find is in Burmese.

yea language barrier is probably why lots of serial killers from asia and the middle east as well are not known about, or sometimes they could be intentionally underreported too, now that i think about it i've barely heard about any serial killers from china, also another reason not all countries understood the concept of a serial killer so that's why many were never caught or their true number of victims were never found out

There's many of them from China, and a good chunk of them have Wikipedia articles. It just happens that the information and description of crimes is limited, because you know, it's China, so the government isn't handing around information to the outside world handily. Same for North Korea. There's one known North Korean serial killer, yet a couple more have been reported, but the government has not recognized their existence.

i always believed there's serial killers where i live but the local police just doesn't know how to profile them, lots of cases of women turning up dead in rivers and bushes, either stabbed or strangled, there's believed to be a serial killer in our sister island who targets expats

Yeah probably. I don't think there's any documented serial killer in Trinidad and Tobago that I know of, but that's T&T. No wonder.

I got really underground into the serial killers. I've read about hundreds, close to thousands, and that's not an exaggeration.
Have u also read preinvestigation records? It's interesting

Some of them. Obviously not for every serial killer that's ever existed. Plus again, for about 99% of them there's very little information. Only the 1% more well-known have a decent amount written about them.
