I went on a brutal hike in the woods today and as I was laying on that incline with the sun beating down on me and rocks below I just wanted to die my hiking mates had already left me behind i was dehydrated and I was just done but I just couldn't imagine my body rotting away in that sun so I went full auto pilot and dragged myself the next few miles somehow it was a truly hellish experience

It felt like the sun on my back was pushing me forward I couldn't form a single thought only move my legs and arms it was like my body was in autopilot
