message to animal lovers/why do vegans get so much hate?

I'm not islamic jfl

JFL at connecting eating meat (something our ancestors did for millions of years) to religion
Also you're going to miss out on crucial nutrients like protein, calicum, omega-3 (this can be fatal) zinc, vitamin B and D

Most vegan eaters are also skinny fat from what I've seen

"Unnecessary animal suffering" if you don't kill that animal, something else will jfl

Be it a parasite, another animal, insect, etc

If one does not want to support the unnecessary bad treatment of commercial livestock animals: They can always buy from ethical farms

Vegans are so funny man

They think if humans stopped killing animals for nutrition they would live a long, happy life with their sweet family (plot twist: animals don't have feelings like humans do and most of the time don't give a fuck about their children in the wild)

Well hindus are vegetarians and yet their ancestors ate meat. So its mostly cultural. Also our ancestors were naked. I dont see you walking around semi-naked in 2024, do you?
Vegetarian ≠ vegan

You said you were vegan, aka you wouldn't eat animal products

Vegetarians don't gaf about the killing of animals, and they still eat animal-based products like eggs, milk, etc

Also that comparison is kinda retarded bhai

Humans dont kill animals in the wild, they breed them into existence, cause them to suffer and then kill them in factory farms. Its obvious to be you are not well informed on the subject. If i bash you in the head and ate your body as meat and my argument was 'well you'd die anyways', iam sure you wouldnt be pleased. You need to view it from the point of view of the animals.

Iam sorry this is retarded. Vegetarians dont eat meat, so they do care about the killing of animals. They do consume dairy products but you have to note factory farming is quite recent. Back in the day people had their own cows and they'd milk them for products. The meat and the dairy industry werent linked in those times.

But i do agree being vegetarian isnt enough today.

No way you compared me to an animal 💀💀💀 don't tell me you value animal life over human too
You need to view it from the point of view of the animals.
Animals don't have awareness lmao

Do you know about that mirror test that they did? The animals we eat didn't recognise themselves

Again, you are coming off as stupid. Animals are sentient. All sentient beings display emotions. Have you had a dog? or a cat perhaps? Can you tell if your dog is happy or not? I sure can. Animals can display a complex range of emotions. They can feel happiness, sadness, pleasure, pain, etc.

I don't think we eat cats or dogs lol

Livestock on the other hand have 0 self-conscious and emotions

Iam not into speciesism. Saying all human life is equally valid and all animal life is invalid is nonsense. I would value a healthy dog higher than a man in a coma. The latter is pretty much a vegetable while the former can feel pleasure and pain.

Says who? Animals are sentient, they have a central nervous system and a brain like we do.
Do you know about that mirror test that they did? The animals we eat didn't recognise themselves
Neither can children. Are you going to eat human kids now? lol

I don't think we eat cats or dogs lol
Whos we? Dogs and cats are consumed in a lot of Asian countries.

Source 'trust me bro'. Pigs are extremely intelligent (more than dogs) and yet humans consume them. Why do you keep saying live stock have 0 emotions? Its simply not true.

You said animals cant recognize themselves in a mirror, neither can new borns. I was making the comparison since that was your standard.
I was talking about grown animals with fully matured brains

You should only compare a grown human to a grown animal otherwise it's false equivalency

Ok let me make it simpler for you. You created a new standard (seemingly out of thin air) that one has to be able to recognize one's self in the mirror to be deemed worthy enough to not be killed and eaten. Lets just assume for the sake of argument that this is a reasonable standard (in reality its not) A lot of mentally impaired humans (even fully grown ones) cannot exhibit this trait. Would you suggest we kill and eat them? Dotn say we cant because theyre humans. Thats an arbitrary standard. Its the same as saying we cant kill them because theyre dogs.

Similarly cats and dogs arent particularly intelligent compared to pigs or cows. The Japanese also consume dolphins which are highly intelligent animals.

Humans aren't cannibals lmao

That's what separates us from animals, our intelligence and empathy & emotions (which livestock animals lack, please stop comparing them to non-livestock animals lol)

Also at the end of the day, you not eating meat won't make a difference and you know it

@itsallaboutpersonality lastly I want to ask you a question

Who would you rather trust to save you from drowning, a dolphin/monkey or another human being?

Few human tribes were in fact cannibals. Modern humans arent and for good reason. You're just arguing semantics without having consistent standards that can apply across all animals (of which humans are one species)

Like i said already, if i show you humans that dont have intelligence, would that be suffice to have them be killed and eaten? Also theres no reason different in emotions and sentience between livestock and non livestock animals. I suggest you do your research
Also at the end of the day, you not eating meat won't make a difference and you know it
It will, albeit in a small way. Regardless, its based on my moral standards.

Irrelevant. There are also humans who want to kill you simply because you are a different skin color or religion. Would you have them killed and eat their flesh? Iam guessing you wouldnt.
